It's actually appeared on CNN.
Some place in Iowa apparently bought it to use as an attaction to bring people in. The guy then sent it to them for free and had the money donated.

The Screen Savers had it on a couple days ago. They said he donated it after ebay pulled the auction because the bids were fake.
