Now that was funny! I used to that kind of [censored] all the time when I was a kid (and I was a fat kid, too). I would have just about died if anyone else had seen me.

Edit: Someone just sent me this link

Hey at least the kid's getting some exercise.

I'm sure he got plenty more running from the bullies after _that_ got sent around the school!

It's one thing to have a mock sword fight with a friend for laughs, but to video tape yourself doing bung-fu alone is just weird (this from the kid called 'spaz' in HS).

I almost feel like this is a put-on. The 'remix' is very well done. Somebody put some time into it.

And, of course, we have the inevitable lawsuit from the parents...

Is there anyone here who WASN'T teased as a kid at some point?

Maybe not, but internationally?

Yeah, I get the distinction between a few kids in study hall versus the masses on the Internet. But nobody did anything except post a video of this kid doing stuff. Actually, my opinion has changed a little after reading this article which fills in some data that the Wired story doesn't, mainly the fact that the video was stolen from cabinet at the high school. I didn't follow this closely in the beginning and thought the video was found on the web somewhere like on the kid's own web page or something. If that were the case, I'd have no sympathy. I guess the stolen tape element makes it more of a criminal act.

Oh man, that really made my day. I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

Here's the actual site that the vids were from - there are 38 versions of it here:

I only just now finally got around to watching the Star Wars kid. The remix video is just pricelessly funny.

My favorite is Star Wars Kid 2.0. The one where he is blocking the blaster shots. Most of the moves actually look calculated.

I read somewhere that the kid's parents sued parents of his friends who supposedly 'leaked' the video in (successful) atemp to humiliate him... Sad, however you look at it.
