Hm. Aside from grabbing some CGI variables (HTTP_USER_AGENT and HTTP_REMOTE_ADDR) and having a pretty picture or two, I don't know how "novel" this is. In fact, as an example of "prior art," ricin had a dynamic sig on this BBS a long time ago...



This dude just decided to ruffle a few feathers by putting supposedly "secret" information about IP addresses and operating systems to scare newbie users. Bah humbug.

I agree that it's not particularly novel nor is it scary that a web server can know your address/OS/browser.

I just think it's very cute how they let you customize the signature and randomize the pictures.
