Leather Jacket Repair

Does anyone know the best way to protect a leatherlambskin jacket? I recently bought one at a big huge sale that was selling not quite perfect leather, and wasn't sure if lambskin needed a different type of leather protection. Also, the jacket already has a few spots where the black came off and was wondering if there is a good way to get those touched up...
