Anyone playing Final Fantasy 11?

I just started 3 days ago and man am I hooked. These games are seriously dangerous...but I must forge ahead.

I'd really love to, but I have an intense dislike for online gaming. I can't wait until FFXII comes out. Of course, I won't be able to play that either since I have no PS2, but I can still dream of another PC port...

Anyway, what's FFXI like? How does it work? Are they attempting a storyline? Or is it just a normal MMORPG?

Not really a game, but I'm startng to get hooked to that online community There!

Speaking of which, sorry about disappearing on you the other day. It just kept crashing on me and I got pissed off and stopped trying.

It's great, but I'm not going to sign up until it gets more stable.

Really I have nothing to compare it to as this is my first online game of this nature....but as far as I can tell, its awesome. Really, it works like any of the other recent Final Fantasy games. There is a vague storyline but I havn't really gotten involved with that yet.
