Modo 3D Modeler

Anyone actually used this by any chance?

Some of the demo videos look AWESOME, but there's no d/lable demo, so I have a hard time dropping $700 without even trying it hands-on.

I may be wrong, but since the website refers to "pre-orders", it seems it's not available as of yet.

Yeah I believe you're right ... Anyone happen to see it at SIGGRAPH?

I didn't see it (only went to a couple siggraph parties, and that's it), but the reports I've heard from industry folks is pretty much what you've already said: it looks awesome, but that's about all that anyone knows.
