Is it just me, but tonight (right now) there seems to be tons of anonymous viewers on the BBS. 24 in For Sale and 10 in Installation Notes? Sure, a bunch of registered users in General and Off Topic, but I've never noticed anonymous usage up that high, and I usually check this time of night. Did we get some form of "slash dotted"? Mentioned in a Karma/Carbon/Chroma news bit? Hm......

Hmmm I just looked now and there are 25 anonymous users on, not looking at any one thread in particular. Certainly more than have seen before..

Dunno what time you looked, but one of the anonymous persons might have been me. I don't always log in when I'm at work -- usually because I know the post I'm looking for.

It is probably a web spider you saw running through the board. Most web spiders come from various IPs, so the BBS sees each as a different visitor.

Ah, web spiders, good point. Well, I hope the spiders manage to get one of Rob's black docks that they were so fiercely viewing over in For Sale.
