£48 off a Dell Axim X50 plus free TV tuner at dell.co.uk - 20/01/2005 18:43

I've been in the market for a replacement PDA for a bit and I've been looking at Dell stuff for a while. I had another look today and noticed an offer on until the 26th of January, basically I got the X50 Wireless and got £48 off (strange amount, I'd have thought it would be £50) plus a plugin TV tuner card and free shipping. All in all it came to £248 which I think is pretty good considering I paid just over £200 last year for my Ipaq 1940.

Looks like that might be the last of the insurance money....

Where is the offer for the free tuner card etc...

Wouldn't mind a new PDA myself

Cheers

Not too sure.... Just seen a picture of said TV tuner. I think it might be easier and less bulky to carry a 14inch portable telly around than use that.

Is this it?

It does look pretty bulky. I imagine the battery isn't too great when using it?

Yes that's the one. It actually uses 4 AAA batteries to power it. So I suppose flattening the Axims battery isn't going to be a problem.
