I thought when searching hte options menu in Outlook it gave you an option of keeping a copy of the meesege available so web based email could still be used. Am I dreaming or is there a way to do this? Thunderbird maybe???

You mean "leave mail on server"?

I'm pretty sure every email package has that feature, even crappy old Outlook. Keep looking.

PS: You might want to spec the exact version of Outlook you're using so that others can actually help you find the option.

Yup, you just have to tick "leave mail on Server" I think there's an option for how many days too.

I guess my sight is very selective because I swear that wasn't there. But yet when I checked just now it sure is. Thanks Tony.
I actually ended up just creating another email account from my ISP and I made it so I can access it when I log on to my primary account without another log inand passowrd. Then I set my primary account to forward a copy of all my email sent to that address to the new account as well. Then I just go in there every couple of days and clear out the unimportant items that I am sure I will have no future use for. It works for what I need.
