Tatoos and 'cutting' are one thing, but this is quite another.
(Tony- this is one you might skip)

The 'queasy' pics can be scrolled past, if need be.

Comments? Opinions?
I'll start: F*** NO!

They did one a few years ago, too, Adding and Subtracting, which is even creepier.

They consider themselves artists...
I don't think I'll recongnize art in a couple of decades.
What's the name of that weird circus of pierced/mutilated people?
Can't remember... maybe Google knows...

You're thinking of the Jim Rose Sideshow Circus.

Yuk, gross

I looked at that just before dinner, and guess what was for dinner?

Thin sausages. Same size as a finger

These are jokes as Bitt pointed out. When you run a Body Modification E-zine, what else would you do?

But if you want fun, how about ritual suspension:

The guy who interviewed them thought the finger was creepier than the transplanted arm??

*edit*
Ha, so it's fake? I guess I was ready to believe it because I know there are very freaky people in this world who have probably done much scarier things.

By the way, for those of you who remember the sideshow episode of the X-Files, my mom actually got to talk to The Enigma over the phone several times (he was the guy with the puzzle pieces tattooed all over his body). I think he was also in that Jim Rose thing, but he also has his own gig now. My mom said he was extremely nice, and he sent her a CD with his music on it. It was...interesting.

I've seen them twice, when the showed up at University of Waterloo. The first time was pretty interesting. The second show was really stretching things a bit. :-P

My first thought was... ugh. That's gross. My second thought, though, was... actually, that's pretty cool, and, if it weren't for the required hospital visit (not to mention the objections of SWMBO), I'd be really tempted.

Phew- well, at least they have a nice sense of humor... and all of their fingers!

Still, the discussion and reactions are quite valid.
A ring will be good enough for me... as soon as I find the gal that is as well.
