I think I paid 300 $ USD for my first nitrus, ended up returning it though. 49 bucks is great price.

You got it.

By the way, these are coming out to $54.05 after tax. If you want to send a paypal, my address is payments <at> spmicro <dot> com. I could also accept Euros at the meet.

So how many would "Rob The Mule" want to carry...? As for that price I wouldn't mind one either...

I'd imagine so... but you'd better hear it directly from Stig so I don't end up with two

IŽll be more direct: AOL! (If possible of course.) Stripping off packaging for less bulk in transit is perfectly OK by me.

OK, So I just placed the 3rd order of the day.

If Stig doesn't want it, I'm sure someone else will.

Re: Refurb Nitrus 1.5GB for $49 - 15/06/2005 21:51

I got a cancellation notice from IBM, but it doesn't mention which order was canceled. I would assume it was the last order for two, but it could be the first one in which case nobody's getting anything.

I don't know why an outfit like IBM can't have up-to-the-second inventory on their website.

Re: Refurb Nitrus 1.5GB for $49 - 15/06/2005 22:35

Did they say it was cancelled due to the item being out of stock ?

Maybe they thought three seperate orders by the same person for the same item was suspicious ?

Re: Refurb Nitrus 1.5GB for $49 - 15/06/2005 23:19

Seems it's because they're out of stock. People on fatwallet that placed their orders yesterday are getting the notice and I just got the 2nd one. Lame.

Check out the text of the cancellation notice:

Quote:
Dear Customer,

Thank you for ordering IBM Certified Used Equipment offered by IBM Credit
LLC.

Unfortunately, due to inventory constraints, we not able to fulfill the
item, Refurbished RIO Nitrus (PT 90260465) system that you ordered.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please do not respond to this note.

Sincerely,

They must have sold that division to a company in China too. You would think they could at least list a reason for the cancelation.

They do. "due to inventory constraints" - they've run out.

It would have been an order hadn't I seen that you got the cancellation notices... Thanks for the try though.
