Comcast is a partner in Logan's (Boston) WiFi. So of course there is a $8.95 charge that allows use for the next 24 hrs.

It was €10 for 24 hours at Amsterdam Schiphol or €6 for 1 hour.

6.5€ for an hour at Milan's Malpensa, 11€ in Attica Holiday Inn near Athens new airport (wired)! Ouch!!!

Back home now, but at my destination, Fredricton NB Canada, has a public WiFi service running through town. No charge. Their SSID is FRED-eZone. Excellent service.

It's a really nice place to visit. The weather was teriffic. So were the pubs. Lots of side walk dining... All the people were fantastic.

That's useful to know. Just use that SSID and nothing else is required?

Thanks

Actually, you don't even need to know that, just let the software look for open networks. FRED-eZONE is an open unsecure net that broadcasts it's ssid.

Same for the McCarran WiFi, though the McCarran initially takes you to a web page that requires an email id be typed in to continue.
