My friend is on the 05 GSXR1000. We are going on a nutso ride north of the GG this weekend if any motorcycle heads in the SF area want to see some unreal roads. We are gonna stay in Fort Bragg Saturday night.

The sofa has been around for a while now. There is a road legal bed as well.

May I recommend a backroad out of Stewards Point?
Skaggs Spring RoadThis amazing road turns off of Hwy 1 about 20 or so miles south of Fort Bragg.
I'm jealous! This is the best riding there is! Wish I was going with you.

Oh, nevermind. You already linked to that road. If you haven't done it yet, it's a MUST.
What are you guys riding?

Those are great sport bike roads. CBR600 is a fun bike.
I ride a R1150GS BMW. My GF and I rode the Skaggs Spring Road on a trip out to the coast in May. We found it by looking for the little gray roads on the map. I learned about the pashnit web site after we got back. We also found the Berryessa Knoxville Road the same way.
I just test rode the new BMW R1200RT boxer yesterday. My bike is 85HP, 540 lbs, the new RT is 505 lbs, 110hp. That's not in the power/weight ratio range of your CBR600, but its damn good for a touring machine. The BMW boxers have always handled extremely well. Keith Code used to teach on a GS, but they haven't had the power. The new 160hp K1200 and the 110hp GS and RT are fixing that! The RT doesn't accellerate like a sport bike, but it would do a throttle-only wheelie in 3rd. I bet that looked ridiculous on a touring bike...
The RT had something that's never been on a bike I've ridden: electronic cruise. Fantastic. It was a bike you could ride cross-country, then go fast on the twisties when you get there.
