Connecting tivo to a monitor with dvi and vga only

I have an extra 21" computer LCD monitor that I would like to use as a display for my Tivo.

Does anyone know of a device that would convert the composite or svideo on the tivo to vga or dvi ?

If you had an HD-tivo, it'd plug straight in with its DVI output.

Asked and Answered. The product I linked hasn't caused us any trouble, but it sounds like it depends on the LCD.

There are also more expensive ones that have a TV tuner and a remote built in. They were around $80 last time I checked.

I've personally got my eye on an HDTV tuner that'll work with my incoming 2405fpw.

Sure, it's this one. I'm not saying it's the best, just that it's worked for us.
