Thunderbird issue

Thunderbird issue - 19/05/2006 16:28

I've just changed back from SeaMonkey to TB & FF, unfortunately I can't set Thunderbird as the default mail client, when I try to do so it errors saying that it can't modify the necessary registry entry.

Any ideas anyone?

Are you logged in as an administrator of that system?

Are you running some sort of software that prevents changes to the system registry, such as aniti-spyware or something?

Alternatively, open up Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, Programs, and set the default mail client there.

I pay in cake (ask Hugo), air freight might be a bit costly though, can I send "freight collect"?

Heh, thanks, I'll hit you up for that cake next time I'm in London. :-)

Not sure if that's a possibility or not. Hoping. Won't know for a little while.

Hmmm. I'm thinking that maybe I should organise another London mini-meet. The last one went pretty well, despite my lack of actual organisational skills.

Maybe I'll leave it until after the wedding, though...

I don't think the wife'll do a flipping wedding cake you know...
