Is anybody familiar with Firebird DB?
We have an application using it. After a power outage, the application is crashing very frequently. This happened in the past and vendors worked on the firebird DB to fix it.
Now, I was thinking that instead of calling very expensive tech support for this, I may simply try at fixing the db myself. But, I've never used Firebird db. I downloaded its latest version from Firebird's website, but don't know what to do. There does not seem to be some management tool... ?!
