Weird video artifacts - 06/06/2015 03:43

Hey folks. Does anyone have a guess for what might be happening to this computer? Someone texted me the attached photos.

Failing video card? Failing monitor? Failing cable? Something else?

VRam problems or an overflow on the video card. Update video drivers, try a different card.

Check the fan on the video card. Maybe it's simply overheating?

The only time I saw artifacts like that on my screen was when a heat sink had come loose from one of the video RAM chips on the video card. Cooked the chip, problem didn't get fixed by reattaching the heat sink. New video card was required.

Thanks guys. I'll just pick up a new card. Appreciate the input.
