Want a small footprinted laser printer. Ink jet is nice for pictures, but not for text, agreed?

Well, I'm happy with my LexMark OptraLxN+ - but it's not exactly small footprint. 
Take a look at their new product offerings.
I know quite a few people that use ink jets for both graphics and print. I like having a 500-sheet paper tray though.

Wow, that one is too big and does way more than I need.
I started looking at the HP LJ 1000, then looked at the Samsung ML-1250 and now am looking at the Brother GL-1440 or 1450. They all have their cons...
