Number of threads - 10/09/2003 12:29

So, is anyone else unable to permanently change the number of threads to be shown? I keep setting it to ``from all dates'' and it keeps springing back to ``active in the last 2 weeks''.

Are you making the change here?

Adjusting the display in each individual forum simply changes it for that session only.

It was already set to ``Show all threads'', but I changed it to something else and back and I still just get 2 weeks' worth.

Odd. I just set mine to one month, and it seems to be sticking. I'll keep an eye on it and see if mine changes for any reason. Normally I have used the default of 2 weeks in the past.

i'm seeing the same problem as bitt, no matter where i change the setting. this doesn't affect any forum other than the new karma forum.

indeed. i noticed this a bit back. set it to show all. i never really noticed when it reverted back to two weeks. and it is only here for me as well.

-edit:
just did a quick test. changed it to show all posts. clicked on 'main index' clicked on 'karma general' and its back to two weeks.

Never have seen it switch my setting of "one month", but I did go ahead and change the drfault in the admin section from 2 weeks to show all threads. This now makes this fourms settings identical to the others.

well that solves my problem. thanks. as an aside, i just set it to one year after readig your post and noticing it does say all posts. i set it to one year and clicked change. clicked main index. clicked karma general. its set back to all posts. is it not saving the settings right, client-side?
