You didn't mention in your other thread, but did you buy it with a credit card? If so see if your credit card company gives you a double warranty.

Sometimes in situations like this, one can get more with honey than with vinegar. Calling up and saying, "Yeah, I know it's past the warranty. But I know that you're a good company and you want to stand by your products. I really like the product and would like to continue using it, and I would like to be able to recommend it to my friends. Could you please make an exception in this case?" (And if the flunkie on the other end of the phone can't, ask to be escalated, lather rinse repeat.)

I'm not saying this would work, I'm just saying that it's the first thing I'd try in this situation.

I have been assured my Rob that the situation will be taken care of so I apologize for my post.

tfarbis, I would agree except I posted a normal thread on this board a week ago explaining my issue (beore I talked to support) and got no response from Rob of anybody else even though somebody else replied in the thread with similar problems.

My frustrated messages for responses and a solution so I would say the better motto is "The Squeaky wheel gets the grease".

Right now, I am just glad the Empeg team is going to make sure I am taken care of. However, my "honey" thread got no response and it took a "vinegar" thread ro get help.

Don't forget the empeg people posting on here are not in sales or customer service.

Maybe there's no motto, it's just a bunch stuff that happens.....
