Dell DAR receiver abandoned? - 28/07/2001 14:25
Checked the Dell US website today. All links to Audio Receiver product or support pages are dead, even if you use Dell's search engine. Is the DAR an abandoned product? Will the Rio Receiver be next?

Dell may not have found a position in their product line for the DAR, but the Rio Receiver isn't at all dead. It fills a critical role in Rio's home entertainment strategy, which will start to become clear as more product announcements are made.
The Receiver is due a software facelift a little later this year - suggestions made (in the Wishlist forum) at this time will certainly be considered for the next release.

just to clarify, those of us who own the Dell version will be able to apply any future software releases to this version as well as the Rio version... correct?
