Tiger canceling Rio Receiver orders

Got a call from TigerDirect this evening. They cancelled my order of two (2) Rio Receivers, as they were not expecting any future shipments. The indication was that Sonic Blue was no longer going to provide them to Tiger at the greatly discounted rate, and cancelled Tiger's order entirely.

I'm pondering whether to order one at the less-attractive $169 rate (or $199 with PNA card) from the Sonic Blue store, or hold out; they're not even listed on the store's homepage any more, so who knows how much longer they'll be available. I can't even find the Empeg there any more.

Well they didn't bother to notify me on this one, but my order shows cancelled now as well. I guess I'll hold out for a bit longer, as the spare empeg I snagged is being used in place of the RioReciever I was "borrowing" while waiting to ship bonzi's order. Hopefully by the time I order one, the software and third party hacks will increase, as things like Hijack and 2.0 have me spoiled on the empeg side.

Oh, and everyone say Hi to Vito. He has helped the community indirectly by allowing me to host RioCar.org off his server, along with the old logo site.

just checked on my order and it was canceled also (without any kind of email or phone notification)

wouldn't be quite so upset if I hadn't received a message last Wednesday stating that they were still awaiting shipment :P
