I'm thinking of picking up a spare hard drive for my spare empeg and using it as a receiver. I don't have much use for one that'll play local files, I just want to play with streaming internet radio stations...
Anyone have any luck?

I have been wanting to get this working, considering my 10gb spare usually sits in the dock doing nothing most of the time. Unfortunatly I can't seem to get jreceiver working well enough on Gentoo for the empeg or actual Receiver I own to see it.

One last bump, hoping someone has gotten a 3rd party server and the empeg to work togther. My spare empeg with only 10 gigs onboard is feeling a bit limiting.
