I have found that if I play a monophonic ogg vorbis file in trio or rioplay (same decoder?) it appears to play at 2x speed and 2x pitch.

Hey, that could sound quite amusing - for at least the 1st 15 seconds.
A sample encoding would help to sort this out for tRio. I'll PM you with my email address.

I installed the new 0.1.4.alpha4 and mono ogg files work fine. Thank you!

I ran across another problem Ogg file, still with high pitch. This one is
mono encoded at 22 khz sample rate, roughly 20 kb/s. I can send the file.
