Anyone tried a linksys wga54g or wga11b yet?

Was always holding off on the wet11 type boxes for monetary reasons, but now there are these newer products starting to emerge with lower prices. Anyone tried this pair yet?

I want to drop one in my garage, but range seems to be about maxed from my NG614g for most things I've tried. Might be anntenna time...
