Where/How to get new zImage to load into flash - 29/10/2003 19:41

Trying to resurrect a dead RioRx here. I built the console level shifter hooked it up to see what it did on power up. Here is what the console spits out:

empeg-net v1.01 20000710 ([email protected])
If there is anyone present who wants to upgrade the flash, let them speak now,
or forever hold their peace...it seems not. L

Clearing 4Mb of RAM...
Copying kernel...
Calling linux kernel...
Uncompressing Linux...

ran out of input data

ok, so I am going to guess that somehow my 'boot' zImage got hosed. It looks like enough of the boot loader is still working to leave me with the hope that I can use the empeq "DOWNLOAD.C" utility to stuff a new image into the device. I just don't know where I might happen across a 'boot' zImage.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

If flashing the Receiver was a simple as using download.c then I think Hugo would have said so. In fact what Hugo has said is that flashing the Receiver will be a very difficult task, so I don't think download.c is going to do it.
