I checked the FAQ but have one question when trying to instal a new logo.. After downloading and installing the logo editor it says that I have to have a working ethernet conection but in a different area it says to hook up with the serial cable.. Thanks

Some operations can be done with the serial cable, other operations must be done through ethernet. The ones on the menu that say "FTP" are the ones that require ethernet. If you don't have ethernet, then avoid those.
