Rotary encoder - 15/07/2003 07:52
My rotary encoder has been getting pretty bad, the volume goes up when it should go down, and sometimes the volume changes when I go over a bumpy road. Anyone know of a suitable replacement encoder, or the part number of the stock one on the MK2a? Thanks!

Cool. Be patient, it might take a bit, but i'm pretty sure he has some spares. I had the same problem.

I was really stupid and didn't ask for one while I was there. I was going to ask for a rotary encoder and a drive cable, and forgot to. As if to say "I told you so", my player had cable trouble yesterday.

Courtesy of Hugo, I now have a small supply of Mk2 and Mk2a rotary encoders here on this side of the pond (in Canada).
If/when you need one, email me.
Cheers
