You might want to talk to Stuart at Eutronix. From what I remember, he was working on a digital sub out board for the empeg. No idea if he ever finished it though as I don't think there was that much interest in the end.

I checked out the add on board(s) I will go that route later, for now I am really looking for input on a DSp/EQ that I can plug the empeg into like the ALPINE PXA-H510 or Pioneer DEQ-9200 both are good units but I am looking for input on which one, I know clarion makes a remote unit and I am sure sony and Kenwood do also.
that Digital out put board sounds cool but I'll pick one of them up later.
You got a new job that doesn't require driving so you're looking at getting an empeg? I'm confused.. You're new job isn't as a proofreader is it?

Never finished it. It makes sound, but we never refined the design. It's sitting in the to do pile and not very high priority.

My empeg works fine with a Pioneer DEQ-9200.
The cable that connects the display from the processor is only 4 feet long, so this may be a problem in your installation. I had to extend the cable on mine by 6 feet or so, which was a PITA to do but does work really well.

Wasn't Beelzebub the person who needed a really good GPS system, and was having trouble fitting both the Empeg and the GPS display in his dash together? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Yep I am the GPS/NAv person but like I said I got fed up with driving 4000-8000 miles a month so I quit and got a different job now I only drive about 100 miles a month and I love it,
So its out with the Nav and in with an Empeg again

And we just wanted you to get a new car!
Amazing how motivating it is to need an empeg!
