Display RDS-Info while playing MP3

One Question:

Is there a way to show RDS-information from the tuner during mp3 playback (probably not fullscreen but in a certain area only)?

Two reasons for that:

1. to control if the radio station with traffic announcements is still present for traffic alerts

2. to see interesting RDS information - I use a RDS temperatur sensor which simulates a radio station and displays the temperature as RDS information

Any idea to do that?

where did you get an RDS temp. sensor?

You can get it e.g. from Conrad Electronic in Germany (conrad.de). It's called "RDS Thermometer" - a great piece of electronic!
