DHCP

Hi Guys,
How can I turn off DHCP in the player?
Have tried Hyperterminal and emplode no luck.

Under the [network] part of the config.ini file (which you should be able to edit through emplode) you set:

DHCP=0

(As examplified in the [very very good] FAQ)
Just ignore the AC and DC stuff in that entry (unless you're using Hijack (highly recommended) and have different requirements at different places (home/work)

I think I'm missing the point here!
In the player config the networking is set to manual.
What I'm trying to do is get the Netmask on the player to read 255.255.255.0
at the moment it is set to 255.255.255.255
Is that a problem?
As the network is down.
and belive me I've spent way to long in the FAQ'S.
Which I have to say are S**t hot Got me though a new disk install with no problems at all.
