Need help please

I am doing a disk upgrade but can't get HT to drop to the shell prompt. Pressing q does nothing in the HT window. As a matter of fact, no keystroke affets the HT window, it's like my keyboard is not sending anything to HT. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have the Developer version of the software installed? Double check the Hyperterminal settings listed in the FAQ?

yes, developer is installed,. the problem is I can't even type in the HT window? I just double checked the FAQ and even made another Ht profile and still can't type in HT

Got it... had SCROLL LOCK on and it was not allowing me to type. maybe this would be something for the FAQ ?

I think you're the only person on the planet who's ever had that problem so far, so I think it doesn't need to go in a Frequently Asked Questions file yet, as it misses the first requirement.

If someone else reports that problem, then that's probably statistically frequent enough for me.
