my spare needs a new display installed (i have the display) and possibly needs solder reflowed on a couple ide header pins. i don't have the gear i'd need to do it. anyone still doing repairs?

Yes, I still repair them here. But for folks in the USA, Stu is by far your best bet for most repair work.

If someone has the parts, I do complete EE design and assembly for other customers.
Soldering any of the parts in the empeg are a snap for me.
