rescue kernel-image - 03/12/2000 17:25

Has anybody got a custom kernel-image which will start /bin/sh instead of /sbin/init at boot?
I kind of locked my empeg by symlinking /dev/usb0 to /dev/zero...
I could reinstall the developer image, but I do not want to go through unpacking my tar file with symlinks, moving directories, etc,etc again...

I just compiled this up, hope its not too late. I haven't tested it but it should do the job. This file is for a Mk2.

Thanks Brian! It's working again... I'm going to store this image in a safe place...

Glad I could help. In case anyone else needs that kernel I recompiled it from the original source without patches and put it on my programming page here. That link in my previous post may disappear sometime so use this one instead.
