IrDA, help, anyone?

IrDA, help, anyone? - 13/03/2000 09:11

I recall someone telling that he has established a communication between empeg and palm or other IrDA device.

I've compiled a kernel with IrDA support, but I don't have /proc/sys at all. Is there some special kernel configurations that has to be done before /proc/sys/net/irda becomes visible/accessible? Though, I have /proc/net/irda, but I believe that's different.

Any ideas?

You need to set the "Sysctl support" bit in the kernel configuration.

Thanks, now the /proc/sys is visible.
