Are EQ presets distinct for in-car vs. at-home? - 07/02/2002 12:47
I may have found a bug, just want to be sure about this. I renamed and setup a preset at home, and tweaked it in car, but only one of my sets saved and showed in the car. If each set of 16 presets is unique to in-car vs. at-home, then I may know why this happened.

The player has two completely different personalites for at home and in car.
Among the things that are saved and restored separately for home and car are:
- Volume
- Loudness
- Balance
- Detailed contents of each EQ preset
- Volume locking
In other words, it's a feature not a bug.

Very cool. Then I think that explains it.

...But the 'names' of the EQ presets are shared between home and car, which is why it looks strange that the 'custom' you renamed to "SuperDuperEQSettings" and spent 11 hours working on with an RTA are completely flat once you plug it in in the house...
