Ripping "penguin" logo from .upgrade? - 24/02/2002 20:13

Anyone know if there is a way to rip the "default" logo from the .upgrade? I want to design my custom logo so the penguin is in the same place as he is after he's done waving, that way all that changes is the non-penguin part of the logo (get it?)

Anyway, I have the "older" (pre 2.0) penguin on my logo now, and it is quite different from the new one. Unfortunately I don't remember how I got that old penguin!

Thanks

Look in the logo section of www.riocar.com. Tony put the Tux logo up there as part of a player-ID startup. You can trim the ID portion and put whatever you want in there. He's mentioned as much a few times (might even be in the description on the site).

That is precisely what I do on my player. When Tux is done waving, the word "empeg" is replaced by my name and my work telephone number, but Tux stays sitting there.

Simply create a custom logo based on one of these images and send it to the player with my logo editor program:

Oops. That's why ".com" will never play second-banana to any other TLD, regardless of what any domain reseller is advetising. I don't even have to think to type .com.

As I was clicking to open this thread I had a flash-back before seeing your post... "Did I type riocar.com yesterday?"
