No hard disk detected

I purchase the Rio Car a few weeks ago and I was very satisfied, until now. Ever since I upgraded to 2.0-b11, every so often when the player boots up, I get a “no hard drive detected” error. This is kind of frustrating because last year I bought a Neo Jukebox and had to return it 4 times for warranty repair. The power connector is flaky; it's a design flaw.

I went back to S/W v1.02 and the problem still persists. My wife wants me to return it for a refund, but I don’t, I’ve wanted an Empeg ever since I heard about it about a year ago. I think it’s a flaky ribbon cable. She’s kinds of leery about this new player cause all the problems we had with the peace of junk Neo. What to you guys think?

Very simple. Contact support (see the FAQ) and they'll take care of it for you.

The FAQ entry on this topic is right here. Please check this out.

Most likely, you will not have to send the player back. Even if you do, it's no big deal, as described here.
