Don't know, but if not, couldn't it query the server software for the current time every once in a while?
which could give you an atomic clock if the serving computer is synchronized with some internet time-server...
It would be cool if we could write something to use NTP as well from the Rio - so that you don't need to modify the server software (which is impossible, since it's not open source).
Now that and an internet time server would be coool.
The box knows the time; it's in all the http responses. The server can easily be NTP synced.
An alarm clock is on the wishlist, but with provisos: there's no RTC, so it needs a server connection (also needs one to be able to play some noise, though it could make beeps I suppose). If the input power goes off/on, the unit will not start the CPU until you press the power button - so it would miss alarms in this circumstance.
