Oh Dear .

Now what? If you look in the licensed client list, there is no mention of the Central. What do we do now for online lookups?

I've mentioned in a couple of Central posts that I've tried to send email to Gracenote support and see if somehow we can get an updated database that would reside on the Central to help reduce lookups....I never got any response...

However, I am in the middle of a big CD ripping project, and I can tell you that my Central as recently as last weekend was able to go out to Gracenote and get tag information for newer CDs that aren't in the on-board database. So they haven't cut us off or anything like that....

I assume that the Central builds an extension to the on-board dB when it downloads the latest disk info? I have not got the beast connected at the moment, but it is the plan to do so soon. If on-line lookups have still not been excluded by GN, then we are still healthy!
