Blowin' the dust off

I recently blew the dust off my Dell Digital Audio Receiver. I bought it a few years ago but set it aside when it became clear that Dell didn't realize what they had and abandoned the product. I have a version 1.01 receiver and 1.01b manger software.

I am so grateful to find this site and to discover others who see what this technology has to offer. I do not wish to waste everybody's time but would somebody please bring me up to speed on where things stand and where to find the most recent software releases. I have run through many of the postings to date and am still a bit confused.

Any background of what has transpired in the last 2 years would be very helpful. Thanks
