I can't my Rio receiver to recognize any playlists - 15/05/2003 08:36

I create my playlists with winamp and musicmatch and I put them in the main directory where I keep all of my mp3's and when I import all of my music it imports all of the mp3's, but when it attempts to import any playlists, the program crashes and shuts down audio receiver's software. Any thoughts? BTW, if I import just all of my mp3's, it works just fine with no problems. Please help.

I'm using the software that came with my unit, I haven't updated any firmware and software.

1. Can you post a small example of what the contents of one of the playlists looks like? Maybe it's the format of the playlist file messing up the software.

2. How many tracks are in each of these playlists? If it's too many tracks, you might be running into something related to this.

The Playlists that I've tried to create have had over 1,000 mp3's in them. I've saved them as .m3u and .pls files. Neither is recognized by the rio software.

Okay, then. Did you click on this link that I gave in the last message?

And let us know if small playlists work.

turns out that I can make playlists via winamp up to about 2000 mp3's. I'm using Audio Receiver Manager version 1.03. Any more files than that and the manager crashes while importing.
