Ability to scroll through no playing list

I think it would be nice to be able to scroll up and down through the now playing list without skipping tracks.

Like use the up and down directional arrows to scroll through the list and just use the left and right arrows in the row with the play and stop buttons to skip.

Why do we need to sets of buttons to skip.

Unfortunately the player does not have enough buttons for this. The remote does, but it was thought that the compass pad on the remote should always mimic that on the unit.

This has been addressed for our new hard disk portable, though.
