Phatbox

So what do you guys think of the phatbox? (www.phatnoise.com) Clearly a different section of the market than the empeg as it uses the existing head unit. I was just accepted as a beta tester for the final version. So I should be getting it within the next week or so. One thing that bothers me is that there is no ethernet on the unit itself. Only the proprietary connector and the serial. Which basically rules out any type of wireless network. But it's cheaper and enables the use of a single head unit that plays cds.
On a seperate note, do you ever wonder why you wake up at 6am for no reason and decide to search for a sound card with an output on the pcb ao you can mod your case with a output on the front and end up posting about phatbox on the empeg board?

So the phatbox only works with 3 different kenwood units? i thought it was supposed to interface with everything?
