Hijack/khttpd feature request - 04/11/2002 06:40

Hi Mark/kernel hackers..

Could you possibly add a new option to the web server (like..say http://empeg/?fid=100&ext=.tsv ) to return a very simple text list of

name[tab]type[tab]FID

I'm working on a thing involving my Palm (and the very limited power to parse HTML that goes with it) to give you the remote, your playlists (insert/append/etc), VNC display, etc over 802.11. I'd take a stab at implementing it myself and giving you a patch if I could get the cross compiler working in OS X...

I guess winter hasn't hit Canada yet, eh... Maybe this will encourage someone (think OS X-style Column view, with only one column.)

This would be cool, but how are you going to do 802.11b with a Palm device?

Intel makes one for m500 and 125s, there's a Springboard one for Visors, the new Tungsten has BlueTooth built in, etc.. I can't justify new toys until I have a use for them, now can I
