JEmplode fighting emplode

JEmplode fighting emplode - 10/12/2002 05:35

I have a small problem with JEmplode. Everytime I use it on my empeg after last having used emplode, it says '1 errors were fixed. Synchronize to save the fixes' and the root playlist turns red. If I then synchronize and use JEMplode again it doesn't complain anymore.

Hoever, if I next use emplode on my empeg, the root playlist is automatically marked as 'changed' and the changes saved upon synchronization. Subsequent runs of emplode then no longer show this behaviour, but if I then use JEmplode again, it complains about the error again and I'm back where I started!

In other words, JEmplode and emplode apparently disagree about some aspect of my root playlist. How can I find out what they think is wrong with it, and who is right? How can I stop this endless loop?

What version do you have? That was a bug in like 43, I think? Maybe try the latest-and-greatest set of installers (build 45) at jempeg.sourceforge.net and see if you have better success. I believe it was a disagreement about exactly how to deal with the Unattached Items playlist.

The titlebar says 'version 35'. I thought I had downloaded the most recent version, but apparently there are quite a bit newer versions...

Yeah .. 35's pretty old. Make sure you go to jempeg.sourceforge.net -- I needed to move the site off of www.jempeg.org because of changes in the hosting policy at Daniel's school.

Thanks. Perhaps it would be a good idea to replace the content of www.jempeg.org with a link to jempeg.sourceforge.net?
