Hijack: fake_tuner=1 not working?

I've put fake_tuner=1 into the [Hijack] section of config.ini, but the tuner is not appearing when I try to change sources.

Did the fake_tuner option break when the tuner-ID stuff was added in v321?

I should read ALL of the version history... The option was removed in 330...

So how would a guy like me send a stalk command in IR_Translate when there's no tuner attached?

To be more specific... I'm trying to optimize my current IR translate so that the Top.L is faster (doesn't do the double-wait), and I want to do Top.L=KOff but can't without a tuner connected. Realistically, this is in only one of the three places the player is most often used, but I wanted to come up with a 100 percent solution.

Last night I upgraded to v332 which supposedly re-enables fake_tuner. However, when I tried using it, my tuner disappeared completely. It does not appear in the Source menu, nor is it activated with the Tuner remote button.

Reverting to v331 fixes things, and I'm using that as a temporary workaround.

I'm unlikely to have time to investigate properly until Tuesday or Wednesday, as I'm about to leave for a long weekend trip, but I had a quick look at the diffs and didn't see anything which immediately jumped out at me.

Yeah, I had trouble with it, too. Mentioned it in the other thread...
