Hijack 340 + RDS AF/Frequency Change Problem - 01/09/2003 02:13

Mark, first of all thank you for trying to solve this issue for us.
Finally I got my new car and had my empeg+radio installed. So I could test it today. I DISABLED the AF function from the hijack menu, but unfortunately, it still changes stations; anyway I had the impressions that few times the radio tried to resync to a different station but then remained on the one I was listening. Probably there's more to filter out?
I still see "RDS" on the display, so I guess not all the rds data is being blocked.

Please, let me know if there's any other info I can give you, no need to say I'll be mor ethan happy to do so

And by the way, it is great to read you all. Very nice to be back from vacation!

This non-feature has now been removed from the Hijack menu (v342).

Cheers

Yes, I noticed. In fact, there's no need for it anymore in v. 3.00alpha3 .

Thank you

My Empeg won't change station-frequencies. I got it once then never again (driving daily between two of these stations). The Signal is first best then becomes lower and lower until two (and a half) bars are remaining. Then I only hear noise (so there shouln't be any bars left). I can switch manually to the other frequency and the signal is strong. When I switch to the old frequency where no more signal is present it won't switch back. AF is on.
I heard of a "hack" to watch what's written into the AF-Variable. Is it gone since the latest hijack? Or do I have to press some secret buttons first?
