Userland app request

Userland app request - 18/01/2002 20:41

I've thought of a userland app that someone may want to write. I'd write it myself, but life precludes....
It would be nice to have a pink noise generator in software rather than as tracks on the empeg. Seems like it shouldn't take much to code, and could then be used when setting the equalizer.
Anyone want to take it on?

How about a Realtime anylizer using the pink noise generator with the mic input?

It's already been said that the mic can't sample high frequencies, but I'd still love to see a map of my car's response even if it cuts off somewhere slightly above midrange.

That would be pretty cool.. Having no idea how to do it, I'm already interested in learning enough to do something like that..

On my "list of things to do if I'm bored" is just a plain sine wave generator, and have it so that you can use the front panel to select frequency and amplitude. If someone else gets sufficiently bored before I do, I'd be interested in the above.
