I am looking into writing a pocketpc2002 app so that I can control my empeg from the serial (I have the pinout for the ipaq 38xx connectors) and I dont know what I can do with the serial.... any idea's or info?

You might want to try the developer info section of
www.riocar.org, which has serial commands completely documented.

Hi Tony.
Actually, only partly documented. I only collected the documentation for the simple serial interface, not for the ways to control the empeg via the emplode protocol (not even sure what it allows to be done, to be honest).
